Survival is about pace and positioning. Hack computers in open, high-traffic spots so you can run the moment the Beast appears, and time your skill checks so a mistimed press does not drop a red marker that reveals you. Crawl through vents with Shift, hop through windows to waste the Beast's time, and free frozen teammates by approaching the pod and pressing E. Pairing up on a terminal makes the hack finish faster, which shortens the window where the Beast can catch you.

It depends on how you like to hunt. Runner is the community favorite for closing the gap during chases, which suits aggressive players who want to end rounds fast. Seer rewards map control and lets you plan patrols instead of wandering, while Stalker helps you root out hidden Survivors. Hacker slows down the escape by disrupting computer progress. Try each one for a few rounds and pick the style that fits how you read the map.

Credits are awarded per round based on how long you stay alive and how many objectives you complete. Survivors earn more by hacking multiple computers, opening exits and rescuing teammates, so playing the objective is the fastest route. Beast players earn good Credits too when rounds end quickly, which rewards efficient hunts. Spending Credits on crates is the main sink, but holding Credits for event crates you actually want is usually a better long-term move than unboxing every Series 1 crate you can afford.

Always compare both items before accepting so you do not overpay, and remember that demand drives value more than rarity alone. Only trade in-game items — cross-trading and real-money trades are banned and can get you banned along with them. Watch for visual scams that swap a valuable item for a cheap lookalike with the same name, and double-check the exact skin before you confirm. Keep records of every offer and report scammers with screenshots so moderators can act.

Once every computer in the facility is hacked, both exit doors unlock. Walk up to an exit and hold E to open it — the full animation takes about twelve seconds and makes a loud noise that reveals your position to the Beast. Time the door opening when the Beast is on the far side of the map or busy dragging someone to a freeze pod. If the Beast spots you mid-animation, cancel and reposition; a half-open door is better than being frozen one step from freedom.

No — camping is a rule violation in Flee the Facility. Standing next to a freeze pod stops the frozen Survivor's health drain, so the community and developers treat it as griefing. The same goes for camping the exit doors after they unlock: it stalls the round and is against the official game rules published by A.W. Apps. Play fair, keep moving, and you will avoid reports while getting more Credits from faster, cleaner rounds.
